    Business Lead – Analytics, Big Data and Information Management in Europe Tata Consultancy Services.

    Professional career and education
    Deepak is the TCS business lead in Europe for Analytics, Big Data and Information Man-agement. In this role, he is responsible for driving the new business development of TCS in the areas related to analytics, new approaches to enterprise and external information man-agement, data science, and application integration. He provides leadership to the group in forging technology alliances, and identifying and exploiting business trends in different indus-tries.
    In a career spanning over 28 years, Deepak has successfully led a number of business initia-tives and IT projects, and provided technical leadership to global, multi-cultural teams to de-liver strong business results. He is a TOGAF certified Enterprise Architect, and participates in presale and consulting engagements where architecture is important. An electrical engineer from Imperial College, London, he also leverages his training in leadership skills, supply chain management, analytics, enterprise architecture and project management to deliver superior consulting and IT solutions. He has provided consulting and software solutions for companies in banking, insurance, logistics, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, computer hardware, and software and telecom industries.
    Deepak joined TCS in the Business Intelligence Practice in 2002. Over the years he has ma-naged technology centers of excellence, alliances, business solutions and presales func-tions. Since 2011, he has been based in Copenhagen, to be close to the fast-growing Europe markets for big data and analytics. Prior to joining TCS, Deepak worked in project management, technical leadership and business development roles for different IT consulting and high-tech companies like Siemens, Unisys, and Teradata. He is a member of a local church and participates actively in community initiatives.
