    Presentation Title:

“In the future, all plants will be run this way”

    Presentation Synopsis :

Consumer tastes, quality competition and regulatory bodies continue to dominate the list of drivers for change in the food and beverage industry. So all manufacturers are facing a balancing act between safety, quality and cost. Operational excellence underpins this balancing act, but such initiatives demand accurate, reliable and timely information.

According to a recent Catavolt report, about 80% of manufacturers said that being able to access real-time data could enhance productivity by at least 6%.  How world class manufacturers will achieve that, using Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), is the subject of Joanne’s talk, which includes an example case study from a major UK food manufacturer.
