    Presentation Title:

Creating sustainable competitive advantages from IT

    Presentation Synopsis:
“Re-using” plant data to drive supply chain excellence
Investments in ERP, demand sensing and supply chain optimisation tools have aided food and beverage processors in developing more flexible operations and reducing costs. There is a next level of competitive edge that can come from a combination of enterprise IT and carefully deployed plant-level systems working in harmony. Firms that enable greater interaction between those layers in real-time, as well as deploying richer BI and analytics across the layers, enjoy a substantial margin advantage. Our session will explore how to unlock those gains in effective material and capacity usage, inventory carrying costs, and production flexibility.
